There's no other company like DI. This group of tech and fabrication geniuses can make waiting for a mind-blowing experience a mind-blowing experience.

And they often bring me in to help with the story. The request might be a narrative to guide creative development of the space, or a script for a consumer-facing video.

The two stories below will give you a peek into how we collaborate.

Dimensional Innovations

Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum

Why would someone else welcome guests to Amelia Earhart's museum when she can do it herself?

The plan was to hire an actress who resembled Amelia then train AI from vintage news reels. A facial likeness would deliver her message.

After researching her quotes, I blended a modern tone with the language trends of the era.

I wrote inspirational content—especially for young girls—while carefully navigating the gloomy outcome of her mysterious final flight. Mission accomplished.

I also collaborated with the DI team on the charming exit video shown above.

LEGOLAND® California Resort’s LEGO® Ferrari Build & Race

How do you entertain kids and parents as they rev their engines at the starting line?

DI asked me to create a primary script plus interstitials for a LEGO character to deliver in the waiting area of this high-octane experience. The recorded messages needed to feel live.

Challenge accepted. Developing simulated interactions for Hallmark products honed my ability to write in universal specifics.

I scripted pages of jokes, trivia questions and Ferrari history—all delivered by the character I created, a lively female driver named Dena.
